It does have a PS/2 port that I have not tried yet, however I don't think I have a PS/2 mouse. This machine is an older model identical to about 5 others. As stated above I have already uninstalled the windows updates. There have not been any changes to the software on the machine aside from windows updates. It is on of 15 used for testing product at a specific spot along the assembly line. I would really like to not reinstall windows as the machine is finicky when it comes to software installation.
Uninstalling all of the updates that were installed within the last two daysĬhkdsk /f (This yielded some errors and it fixed them, just not the one I needed apparently😑) It stopped working just a few moments after logging in. I did get the mouse to work for about 6 seconds by restoring the machine to a recovery image from 2 days ago. That is how I have been diagnosing the issue. I should also mention the keyboard has not had any issues. After shutting it down yesterday so it could be moved and then turned back on the mouse stopped working. I have a strange issue with the mouse on a windows 7 machine.
